Justice is always the human tireless pursuit, with no exception in ancient or modern. In Chinese history, Xunzi proposed the idea of social justice. Different from Confucius and Mencius’s justice discussion from the aspects of moral, Xunzi took the social reality as the starting point and discussed justice from the social system aspect. This paper analyzes the theory of social justice on its theory base and social system, and reveals the modern significance of Xunzi’s theory of justice.

Research on scope of educational administrative litigation cases in China’s public collegesby FAN QiP.9

After more than ten years of judicial practice, public college educational administrative litigation mainly includes the following: behavior of awarding the academic certificate and degree diploma, disciplinary action behavior which changing student identity, and college enrollment behavior. However, because of the lack of legislation, these accepting case behaviors lack of legal support. Among these three theory: the student-centered litigation right theory, the college-centered public law theory, the college and student’s relation-centered important relations theory, the third theory is the most consistent with the current judicial practice, and it will gradually develop to protect the accepting cases scope of students’ basic rights in the future.

Developing modern logistics industry to promote the new urbanization process in Chongqingby Gong Xian-wenP.22

Modern logistics industry is a composite service industry which integrates transportation industry, storage industry and information industry. In the process of urbanization in Chongqing, closely linked with other industries, the logistics industry has become the basic industry which can guarantee manufacturing layout optimization, enhance consumer service environment, improve the quality and efficiency of economic growth, and promote strategic adjustment of economic structure. The development of modern logistics industry is not only an important task in the urbanization process in Chongqing, but also an effective way to solve the problems of urbanization. Based on the actual situation of Chongqing, exploring the way of developing logistics industry to promote the urbanization has theoretical and practical significance for the new urbanization, from the perspective of population urbanization, economy urbanization, social urbanization, space urbanization and ecological urbanization.

Since this century, the concept of celebrity culture in daily life always has the problems of the unclear connotation definition and the lack of universal theory. Based on the historical and cultural value identity, the concept of celebrity culture defines the connotation of “history and culture”, which is the overall function of the “history and culture” system integrated with its two aspects. At the same time, it can provide the real culture for human spirit home construction, and its value should be the same as the value of historical and cultural (heritage) function. According to the historical and cultural value, from the academic research perspective of celebrity culture construction, the concept of celebrity culture in the era of globalization can be defined in the aspects of time and scope, value orientation and expression form, etc.

On translation of “virtue ethics”by ZHAO Yong-Gang, YI YuP.54

“Virtue ethics” mainly has four translations in Chinese: virtuous-conduct ethics, Dexing ethics, Liangpin ethics, and Meide ethics. The translation of “virtuous-conduct ethics” limits the connotation of “virtue” to external moral behaviors; it changes our general understanding of “virtue”, and does not conform to the fact that virtue ethics views moral character as the core focus. The translation of “Dexing ethics” has a special theory of human nature about “virtue”, narrowing the meanings of virtue and virtue ethics. And it may cause the confusion between virtue ethics and Chinese traditional Confucian ethics. The translation of “Liangpin ethics” is inappropriate. By contrast, the translation of “Meide ethics” is more appropriate.

Research on literature of Wei-jin Dynasty in modern academic perspective: taking LIU Da-jie’sOntheThoughtofWei-jinDynastyas an exampleby CHE Meng-jieP.71

As a modern scholar influenced deeply by western academic, LIU Da-jie discussed the academic thought and literary trend of Wei-jin Dynasty mainly from the angle of evolution. LIU Da-jie highly identified with the literature of Wei-jin Dynasty which contains the romanticism of opposing tradition, advocating emotion, and publicizing humanity. It revealed the romantic feelings of the author himself. Owing to the similarity between the academic thought of Wei-jin Dynasty and the spirit of modern academic, LIU Da-jie’s research of the literature of Wei-jin was branded with the trace of times deeply. This research also reflects the modern scholars’ pursuit of the free thinking and the independent spirit.

Based on the research of 19 universities facing the transformation into applied universities in Guangxi Pro-vince, from the aspects of university-running orientation, talent training scheme, profession settings, management system, teacher team construction, teaching material construction, training base construction, balance between research and teaching, etc., this paper divides the universities into 3 types and collects data. According to statistical analysis, it puts forward the existing problems, and then analyzes the root causes, to find a way out.

Countermeasures of professional knowledge development of rural teachers in west China: based on the background of overall urban-rural educationby QIN BoP.113

To research western rural teachers’ professional development, this paper uses self-designed questionnaires to investigate rural primary and middle school teachers in Chengdu and Chongqing. According to the relevant literature of western rural education, it finds many problems for western rural teachers, such as false education background，backwardness of educational concept, low level of educational theory, unreasonable structure of knowledge, insufficiency of teaching ability, etc. To solve these problems in the background of overall urban-rural education, this paper puts forward the following countermeasures for western rural teachers’ professional knowledge development: building professional knowledge developing environment, improving the professional knowledge level, optimizing the professional knowledge structure, improving the knowledge application ability, and monitoring the development quality.

Postmodernism education adheres to a diversified attitude and criticized the negative effect of modern education. It reflects the problems in the modern basic education reform, among which curriculum problems and relation between teachers and students are more typical. Traditional courses have not adapted to the needs of social development, so it is necessary to re-examine curriculum objectives, to change curriculum concept, and to develop new curriculum text. Teachers and students are the main bodies of curriculum. Teachers should change their roles, understand the changes of students’ physical and mental development, and then build the relationship between teachers and students under the new situation.
