Just a few short months ago， Doublelift held the 2015 NA LCS Summer Split trophy above his head in front of a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden. Counter Logic Gaming had finally conquered North America. Not only that， but they did it by defeating their arch rivals， Team SoloMid， in front of the largest crowd， and on the biggest stage， that the NA LCS had ever experienced. After the dust settled and the lights dimmed on 2015， the storm that was the offseason approached. And with it， something no one could foresee...

TSM Doublelift.

By joining forces with his former rivals， Doublelift became the first piece of TSMs new NA superteam， whose star studded lineup now includes Hauntzer up top， Svenskeren in jungle， and former EU LCS legend Yellowstar at support.

Bjergsen returns to mid as TSMs main attraction for the third straight year. In his first two years， the burden of being regarded as the best mid laner in the NA LCS weighed heavily on Bjergsen. If he didnt do well， TSM suffered. The addition of Doublelift means that Bjergsen can breathe easier now that TSMs fate doesnt lie solely on him getting ahead early.

"We both think of the game the same way， were super critical of ourselves，" says Doublelift of his new mid lane partner in crime. "He acknowledges his mistakes and I acknowledge mine. Its fun to talk it out and swap tips and advice [with Bjergsen]. Its really hard to find people who are critical of themselves... instead， they shift blame onto others， so I really like that."

Over the course of his career on CLG， Doublelift evolved from a farm crazy， lategame carry into a far more balanced player. Last year in particular， he became less prone to split pushing for farm and more reliant as a team member. His solo-carry mentality shifted in favor of a more selfless style that prioritized plays aimed at getting his team ahead as a whole.

Yet Doublelift is still the man whose mechanics are rivaled only by his machismo. He excels as a hyper carry on high skillcap marksmen like Vayne， Jinx， and Tristana-- anything that gives him the means to outthink and outplay his opponents within milliseconds. Strategically， Doublelifts addition to TSM puts opponents between a rock and a hard place. If teams focus bans or early pressure on Bjergsen， it opens up opportunities for Doublelift to run away with the game； and vice-versa.

Doublelifts maturation into a more well- rounded carry was due in no small part to his support on CLG， Aphromoo. Aphromoo was the support muse that Doublelift leaned on in lane， capable of matching the ADCs aggression while also reigning him when he was over-extended. "I played with Aphro for three years and it was fun to play with him because we clicked really fast，" explains Doublelift. "Its going to be hard for Yellowstar and I to gel like that instantly. I think that was an instant chemistry that doesnt come very often… and [Yellowstar] is used to playing super passively with Rekkles."

Doublelift， on the other hand， tends to toe the line between risky and suicidal when it comes to lane aggression. Meaning that even though the Doublelift-Yellowstar duo sounds like a slam dunk， it is far from a sure thing. That being said， if you had to pick two players with opposite styles to stick together， this combo would most likely yield your highest probability of working out. With nearly a decade of experience between the two of them， odds are theyll find a way to make TSMs bot lane thrive.

Theres no doubt that TSMs new roster is overflowing with talent， and while they have the makings of North Americas next great team， we dont know how theyll utilize all this talent in game. "This season， if its mid lane focused then Ill play supportive AD carries like Sivir and Kalista and just farm and work in team fights. But if the meta is bottom focused， Bjergsen can play supportive mids and farm， and we can put more resources bottom，" anticipates Doublelift.

This prevalence toward flexibility will shape the way TSM approaches the start of the season. What we cant be certain of， is how well theyll be able to implement and execute an adaptive playstyle that hinges around two veteran carries.

Im still 22， I feel like Im still in my prime and I can ride it for years and years.

The only thing we do know， is that Doublelift is still hungry. "People think that because Ive been around since Season 1 preseason that Im reaching the end of my career，" he explains. "The type of stereotype is that those players are washed up， have bad attitudes， or declining mechanics for some reason. But Im still 22， I feel like Im still in my prime and I can ride it for years and years."

Last season， that hunger drove him to win the NA LCS Summer Split title， and you can be sure he wants another. "I want to get it out there that I still have a lot in me and last year was my best overall. I think I can keep doing better and better. People might think that Im about to retire， but I dont think thats the case，" Doublelift states matter of factly.

TSM Doublelift…

Doubelift加盟了宿敵TSM，成為了后者休賽期第一筆選手簽約，也成為了TSM“超級戰(zhàn)隊”的第一位新援，TSM在一個月后，最終敲定了Hauntzer上單，Svenskern打野，Bjergsen中單，Doublelift以及YellowStar下路的豪華陣容。

Bjersen選擇留隊，2016將會是他在TSM的第三年。在前面的兩年中，他作為北美第一中單撐起了整個隊伍。當(dāng)他表現(xiàn)不好的時候，TSM往往會打的十分艱難。Doublelift的加盟，將意味著TSM的命運將不再僅僅依托在Bjergsen的發(fā)揮上。

從個人層面來看，Doublelift依然是那個，操作強(qiáng)到只有他的脾氣才能hold的住他的男人。他尤其精通那些需要高強(qiáng)度操，能夠逆天改命的后期ADC，比如jinx， vayne， 小炮等能夠給他在一瞬間秀死對面，改變戰(zhàn)局能力的英雄。從戰(zhàn)隊?wèi)?zhàn)術(shù)層面上看，doublelift的加盟，讓tsm的對手總要面對一個兩難的境地，究竟在bp和前期壓力方面，針對bjergsen還是doublelift呢？無論如何選擇，這總會給另一個人一個完美的接管比賽的機(jī)會。

Doublelift在clg時的輔助，aphromoo，在前者變得成熟的路上，起到了至關(guān)重要的作用。他是doublelift在線上的，能夠跟上doublelift的激進(jìn)操作，也能夠適時提醒他不要太沖動?！拔液蚢phro打了接近3年，我們的默契來的非?？??！眃oublelift解釋道“也許我和yellowstar要找到相同的默契需要經(jīng)歷一段時間的困難期，因為化學(xué)反應(yīng)通常情況來的沒那么快，而且他（yellowstar）已經(jīng)習(xí)慣和rekkles配對了，而我們的風(fēng)格是非常不同的?！?/p>

Doublelift常常在線上游走在危險的邊緣。這意味著，哪怕Doublelift+Yellowstar的組合聽上去名頭再響，實際上可能不是那么回事兒。然而，如果你必須要選擇兩個風(fēng)格不同的選手，這兩個人可能有最大的機(jī)會磨合順利，因為他們兩人加起來10來年的比賽經(jīng)驗，會讓他們找到適合彼此的比賽方式。

毫無疑問，TSM的新陣容充滿了天賦，他們有能力成為下一個北美王者的材料?！斑@個賽季，如果版本適合中路carry，我會配合團(tuán)隊選擇sivir或者復(fù)仇之矛，如果版本是下路carry，bjergsen也會選擇輔助型的中路?！眃oublelift如是說。這種充滿彈性的策略，會給TSM的開季帶來相當(dāng)?shù)膬?yōu)勢。而我們無法確定的是，這類隨機(jī)應(yīng)變的策略，能被運用到什么的高度，能讓這兩位老將carry打到什么新高度。

我們確切知道的是，Doublelift依然保持著對勝利的渴望?！叭藗兛偸俏?，我從s1就開始打了，我的職業(yè)生涯馬上就要落幕了。”他解釋道“人們對于老將的成見，認(rèn)為選手們打久了就一定會倦怠，一定會下滑，一定會沒有斗志實際上是不對的。我仍然只有22歲，我覺得我尚在巔峰，而且還會持續(xù)很久?！鄙蟼€賽季，對勝利的渴求給他帶來了他期盼已久的冠軍獎杯，而他一定不會滿足于此?！吧蟼€賽季是我最好的賽季，我想我的郵箱里還有不少油，我還能做到更多。人們認(rèn)為我可能會帶著榮光退役，但是我不滿足于此?！?/p>

This year， Doublelift has his eyes set on hoisting that NA LCS trophy yet again， the only difference being that this time， it would be to the sound of "TSM， TSM， TSM！" ringing through the crowd.

這個賽季，與往年一樣的是Doublelift依然會著眼于追逐冠軍，而與往年不同的是，人群中為他吶喊的聲浪將會是“TSM！TSM！TSM！”
