2009 and its virtually unrestrained economic growth in China is over. 2010 - the Year of the Tiger - has arrived, and so has a new threat of inflation, requiring the Chinese Government to rethink its 'moderately loose' monetary and fiscal policies. The shift to greater austerity is now imminent, and China's economy is readying itself for all the implications of this.
