A Review of Research Papers on the Qiang in China in 2014

Abstract：

During 2014， Chinese scholars enthusiasm for studying the Qiang remained unabated， research results increased， and the quality of research improved. They paid special attention to the daily life and social development of the Qiang，including issues such as the regional economy， culture， art， education， etc. The academic journals publishing the research results of Qiang studies are mostly found in the western region of China， centered in Sichuan. However， there was also a scattering of academic journals from other regions of China. This shows an increase in the number of journals which carry the achievements of Qiang studies. The research methods paid attention to a combination of micro， meso， and macro research in Qiang studies. Compared with 2013， there were no major changes regarding research weaknesses， and these were mainly reflected in lesser achievements regarding ?studies of literature， law， medicine， and physical and psychological aspects. Certain problems were still obvious， for example， the quality of some papers was low， and there was also redundant research.
