      教學(xué)反思

      本節(jié)課是人教版選修8第二單元的第二篇閱讀,以“The return of the dinosaurs?”為話題展開,課型豐富,涉及讀、說、寫三個部分,是一篇Reading for discussing and writing的典型課例。下面筆者從兩個方面對這節(jié)課進(jìn)行總結(jié)和反思:

      這節(jié)課的成功之處是組織科學(xué)、合理而緊湊。這篇文章簡單易懂,生詞量不大;可是由它所引出的話題的討論和寫作所需要的詞匯量卻是巨大的。除了學(xué)生原本的詞料庫以外,在閱讀部分為學(xué)生做好詞匯、語料、語法等準(zhǔn)備也十分必要。在這節(jié)課中,筆者組織學(xué)生討論,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生積極思考,調(diào)動學(xué)生對于爭議話題的興趣,并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生把觀點寫下來。這些課堂活動為接下來的寫作做了很好的鋪墊。在寫作環(huán)節(jié),筆者巧妙地設(shè)計了角色扮演活動,即“假設(shè)你是一名小記者,總結(jié)今天的辯論”,使學(xué)生帶著榮譽(yù)感地去完成寫作部分,上下承接。

      這堂課也有不足之處。一是在時長控制方面,有些活動的時間不充足,有些基礎(chǔ)薄弱的學(xué)生還未準(zhǔn)備好就匆匆趕往下一環(huán)節(jié)。二是在reading中只引導(dǎo)學(xué)生搜索基本文本信息,而忽略了language的學(xué)習(xí),如in fact,unfortunate等詞作為很有力的帶有感情色彩的轉(zhuǎn)折詞,在閱讀中并沒有帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生去仔細(xì)研讀和模仿,頗為遺憾。
