We all have moments of desperation1. But if we can face them head on， thats when we find out just how strong we really are.

Weve all done something in our lives that we are ashamed of—some of us have fallen for the wrong man， some have let go of the right women... There are those who have humiliated their parents and those who have failed their children. Yes， weve all made mistakes that diminish2 us and those we love. But there is redemption3 if we try to learn from those mistakes and grow.

我們都做過一些自己都感到慚愧的事。有些人愛錯了人，有些人錯過了愛；有些孩子使父母丟臉，也有些家長讓孩子失望。是的，我們都犯過錯，使我們愛的人離我們而去。但如果我們試著從這些錯誤中吸取教訓(xùn)并成長，就還有挽回的機會。

There is a place in the church where sinners go to confess4 their sins. And once they are done， they expect absolution5. But the truth is， not all confessions are worthy of such forgiveness. Most who unveil his agendas deserve the condemnation they receive. Most who disclose revengeful6 motives marry the punishment that follows. Only the truly repentant at any right at all expect a second chance.

Family—there is nothing more important. Theyre the ones who show up when were in trouble， the ones who push us to succeed， the ones who help keep our secrets. But what of those who have no family to rely on？ What happens to those poor souls， who have no loved ones to help them in their hour of need？ Well... most learn to walk lifes road by themselves， but a sad few of us simply stop trying.

As I look back at the world I left， it is all so clear to me. The beauty that waits to be unveiled7， the mysteries that long to be uncovered. But people so rarely stop to take a look. They just keep moving. Its a shame， really. Theres so much to see.

每當我回首過去，一切都是如此清晰。美麗期待著被揭開面紗，神秘渴望著被揭露謎底。但是幾乎沒有人愿意停下來看看。他們一直往前走。真是遺憾??！有那么多值得回首的東西！
