When youre given money you should learn how to deal with the money wisely （adv. 明智地；聰明地）. While some teens are taught at a young age to save what they have， other teens have no idea how to keep a dime （n. 一角硬幣） in their pocket and will spend their money on the first thing they see. You need to learn good money habits as soon as you have money of your own through work or other sources （n. 來(lái)源）.

It is possible for you to earn money by doing “jobs” for your parents around the neighborhood such as cooking and cleaning. Part-time teaching is also another great way for teens to earn money until they are old enough to get a job； so consider these ideas！

However you may also have an account managed by your parents that you arent allowed to use until you are at a certain age. Another way to save your money is to have a place in your room where you can safely keep the money you have got. Even though your can use this money at all times， you will be able to see how much you have earned and can keep some money put aside.

Your parents and other adults in your life should teach you how to manage your money. Once you have found a way to make money， the best thing is for you to have a savings account. Each time you earn some money part of the amount should be deposited into the account. This will teach you how to save and will also show them that they are being rewarded （v. 獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)；獎(jiǎng)賞） for your work by having the ability to watch their account grow. If someone in your life tries to teach you these tricks of money management （理財(cái)） make sure you pay attention！
