      Today Im very glad to be standing here and talking about Unit 11 Peoples and Countries Lesson 62 in Book 4 of starting line primary English.

      PartⅠ.教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析

      1.根據(jù)教學(xué)大綱并聯(lián)系學(xué)生實(shí)際,制定如下教學(xué)目標(biāo)

      a.知識(shí)目標(biāo)

      學(xué)會(huì)并掌握六個(gè)短語(yǔ)和一些句型。

      Phrases: ①Eiffel Tower ②cherry blossom ③Disneyland ④CN Tower ⑤Big Ben ⑥Opera House

      Drills: Where does Edward come from?

      He comes from Canada.

      What is his city famous for?

      Its famous for the CN Tower.

      b.能力目標(biāo)

      訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的聽說(shuō)讀寫能力,提高他們的交際能力并鼓勵(lì)他們說(shuō)更多的英語(yǔ)。

      c.情感目標(biāo)

      Make the students feel successful and enjoy English;

      Make them love their own country;

      Make them love the peace of the world.

      2.重點(diǎn)

      ① six phrases

      ② four drills

      3.難點(diǎn)

      ① When the subject is the third person singular,how to use the predicate verb.

      ② The usage of the phrase“be famous for”。

      ③ The pronunciation of Eiffel Tower,blossom,opera.

      ④The spelling of cherry blossom,Disneyland.

      Part Ⅲ.教學(xué)步驟

      Step1.復(fù)習(xí)

      I will show Students the pictures of Lesson 61 and ask Who is he/she? Where does he/she come from? Where does he/she live?

      Students answer my questions according to the cards and pictures.

      Step 2.導(dǎo)入

      1.Free talk about famous cities and places.

      T:Binbin comes from China.He lives in Beijing. Do you know what Beijing is famous for? Beijing is famous for the Great Wall.What else do you know about Beijing?

      Ss:Tiananmen Square,the Summer Palace,Beihai Park,etc...

      目的:聯(lián)系學(xué)生生活實(shí)際并創(chuàng)造輕松的語(yǔ)言氛圍。

      2.Guessing game—What country/city is it in?

      T:Show some pictures to Ss.

      Ss:Give their answers.

      目的:讓學(xué)生了解更多的世界名勝。

      Step 3.聽音標(biāo)號(hào)

      Step 4.學(xué)習(xí)新語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)

      a.Encourage Ss to guess the meaning of the new phrases.

      b.Reading practice.

      c.New language point:

      Teachers example:Where does Edward come from? He comes from Canada.Where does he live? He lives in Toronto.What is his city famous for? Its famous for the CN Tower.

      Asking questions:Where does Tom come from? Where does he live? What is his city famous for?

      Encourage Ss to say:Tom comes from the United Kingdom.He lives in London.His city is famous for Big Ben.

      Purpose:以談?wù)撛掝}的方式討論新語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)。

      d.More practice:

      Ss make dialogues according to their own information cards.

      Step 5.練習(xí)填空

      ①Where Nick come from?He from the United States.

      ②Where he live?He in Los Angeles.

      ③Where you come from?I from China.

      Step 6.寫作練習(xí)

      Finish P23/C Lets write.

      Step 7.作業(yè)

      ①Oral practice(P23/B)

      ②Recite six phrases.
