“75年前，我曾經(jīng)在這座城市生活過，今天我來到這里，像一只活恐龍。此刻我身在重慶，覺得恍然如夢。1939年，我父親從上海被派遣到重慶，此前他是荷蘭駐上?？傤I(lǐng)館的領(lǐng)事……”

11月21日，在荷蘭駐重慶總領(lǐng)事館正式開館儀式上，荷蘭前任駐華大使楊樂蘭作為特邀嘉賓出席了慶典活動(dòng)，并在活動(dòng)上回憶了二戰(zhàn)期間隨擔(dān)任荷蘭公使館外交官員的父親在重慶的生活，分享了其少年時(shí)的記憶，情之動(dòng)容，展示了重慶與荷蘭之間交往的歷史。荷蘭駐華大使賈高博、前任荷蘭駐華大使楊樂蘭、重慶市常務(wù)副市長翁杰明、重慶市政府外事僑務(wù)辦公室副主任陳高山等出席了儀式，荷蘭駐渝總領(lǐng)事譚敬南主持了開館儀式。

荷蘭駐渝總領(lǐng)館是荷蘭在中國繼駐北京大使館、駐滬總領(lǐng)事館、駐廣州總領(lǐng)事館及駐香港總領(lǐng)事館之后設(shè)立的第五個(gè)外交代表處。新設(shè)重慶總領(lǐng)事館的主要使命是開展經(jīng)濟(jì)外交，同時(shí)也注重民間文化交往。作為荷蘭在中國西南地區(qū)唯一的總領(lǐng)事館，該領(lǐng)館領(lǐng)區(qū)范圍包括重慶、四川和陜西。

荷蘭駐華大使賈高博在開幕儀式上致辭并表示：荷蘭駐渝總領(lǐng)館的開辦，不僅讓中國西部地區(qū)企業(yè)有了更為簡便的渠道投資荷蘭，同時(shí)，將為在渝商務(wù)出差的荷蘭公司提供電腦、網(wǎng)絡(luò)、打印及掃描設(shè)備等工具。此外，還可以從總領(lǐng)事館工作人員處獲取投資中國西部的第一手資料和建議。“荷蘭駐渝總領(lǐng)事館的開館標(biāo)志著荷蘭又一次在重慶設(shè)立外交代表機(jī)關(guān)，荷蘭與重慶的關(guān)系深深植根于歷史當(dāng)中，雙方的未來一定是光明的?！辟Z高博說。

“中國西部地區(qū)為荷蘭提供了廣闊的發(fā)展空間。”荷蘭駐渝總領(lǐng)事譚敬南說，“渝新歐”鐵路的開通，將原本相隔萬里的兩個(gè)城市緊密地連接了起來。他稱，西部地區(qū)作為中國發(fā)展最快的地區(qū)之一，保持著兩位數(shù)的增長速度，在農(nóng)產(chǎn)品、交通、倉儲(chǔ)物流、醫(yī)療保健、生命科學(xué)、環(huán)保及清潔技術(shù)等領(lǐng)域，與荷蘭有巨大的合作潛力。重慶總領(lǐng)事館已開展各個(gè)領(lǐng)域的市場調(diào)查，為荷蘭及中國公司在生豬養(yǎng)殖、馬鈴薯種植、園藝、乳業(yè)、高科技汽車及運(yùn)輸、集散物流等領(lǐng)域提供了各種機(jī)會(huì)，荷蘭歡迎來自中國西部地區(qū)的潛在投資者。

值荷蘭駐渝總領(lǐng)事館開館當(dāng)日，由重慶市政府外事僑務(wù)辦公室、重慶市文化委員會(huì)、中國重慶三峽博物館聯(lián)合舉辦的《巴渝舊事君應(yīng)憶——荷蘭高羅佩家族捐贈(zèng)高羅佩私人收藏文物展》開幕儀式也在重慶三峽博物館舉行，還開設(shè)了高羅佩展廳，將其生前的私人收藏向公眾免費(fèi)開放，讓這一“中國通”的荷蘭大漢學(xué)家更為人所熟悉。高羅佩的子女也來到重慶參加父親的私藏文物展揭幕儀式。

正如楊樂蘭在演講中提到的，“本世紀(jì)我一共兩次來渝——但是這次與以往不同。今天荷蘭駐渝總領(lǐng)事館正式開放，我們兜了個(gè)圈子又回到原點(diǎn)——上個(gè)世紀(jì)三四十年代的荷蘭外交官曾在戰(zhàn)時(shí)的重慶為發(fā)展中荷關(guān)系付出了不懈的努力，現(xiàn)在我們面臨進(jìn)一步發(fā)展荷蘭同本地區(qū)關(guān)系的新機(jī)遇，這證明了他們當(dāng)初的努力是正確的。荷蘭駐渝總領(lǐng)館能夠在這方面發(fā)揮重要作用。”

Netherlands Consul-General in Chongqing Officially Opened

On November 21,at the official opening ceremony of the Consulate General of Netherlands in Chongqing,former Ambassador of Netherlands,Mr.Roland van den Berg attended the celebration as specially invited guest,and recalled his life in Chongqing with his diplomatic father during the second world war,sharing memories of his childhood,showing a long story between the Netherlands and Chongqing.Mr.Aart Jacobi,Netherlands Ambassador to China;Mr.Roland van den Berg ,former Netherlands Ambassador to China;Vice Mayor of Chongqing,Mr.Weng Jieming;Deputy Director of the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office,Mr.Chen Gaoshan attended the ceremony;Netherlands Consul-General in Chongqing,Mr.Guido Tielman host the opening ceremony.

Netherlands Consul-General in Chongqing is the fifth diplomatic representative office after Netherlands embassy in China,Netherlands Consul-General in Shanghai,Netherlands Consul-General in Guangzhou and Netherlands Consul-General in Hongkong.The primary mission is to develop economic diplomacy while also focusing on folk culture exchanges.As the only Netherlands Consulate General in Southwest China,the Consulate claim area including Chongqing,Sichuan and Shanxi.

Mr.Aart Jacobi,Netherlands Ambassador to China said,the opening of Netherlands Consul-General in Chongqing not only facilitates the enterprises in Western China which have easier access to Netherlands,while can also provide equipments to use such as computer,network,printing and scanning equipment for Netherlands companies that travel on business in Chongqing for a few days.In addition,they can also get first information and recommendations on investment in Western China from the staff of the Consulate.“It marked that once again the Netherlands set up diplomatic representation in Chongqing and the relationship between Netherlands and Chongqing is deeply rooted in history,our future will be bright.”

"China's Western region provides a broad space of development for the Netherlands.”Mr.Guido Tielman said,“Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe" railway connected the two places pretty closely.Chongqing as one of the fastest-growing areas in Western China who maintained a double-digit growth rate has great potential for cooperation with Netherlands in agriculture,transportation,warehousing and logistics,healthcare,life sciences,environmental and clean technology areas.The Consul-General in Chongqing Has carried out market research in all areas,offering a variety of opportunities for Netherlands and Chinese companies in pig breeding,potato growing,horticulture,dairy,high-tech automotive and transportation,distribution and logistics.Netherlands welcomed potential investors from China's Western region.

In the area of folk exchanges,Chinese citizens in the claim areas can apply Netherlands Schengen visa through the agency of visa centre of Hungary Consulate General in Chongqing.

Mean while,an opening ceremony of Robert Hans van Gulik family donating van Gulik’s private collection heritage exhibition held by Chongqing Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office,Chongqing Culture Committee,and Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum was also kicked off on the same day when Netherlands Consul-General in Chongqing opened,the Gulik Hall will be open to public for free.Van Gulik's children also came to Chongqing to attend their father's possession of exhibition opening ceremony.
