London Calling. It' s as powerful today as it was

in the 1970s. It is like a challenge to the rest of

the world' s musicians： Can you match our

musical talent？ Can you play where we' ve

played？ After all， what city has given more to the

world musically than London？ The list of artists

that come from the capital is as long as it is

impressive： The Rolling Stones， David Bowie， The

Clash， T-Rex，The Who， Queen， Police， Blur， Elvis

Costello， The Sex Pistols， The Jam and The Kinks

all played in London' s pubs and clubs on their

way to global stardom.
