網(wǎng)絡時代衍生出眾多的網(wǎng)絡紅人以及網(wǎng)絡熱詞，繼去年的“給力”和“浮云”之后，當下最熱最時髦的要數(shù)“hold住”了，讓我們一起透視其背后的淡定文化。

Hot words on the Internet don’t stay hot for long.“Geili” and “fuyun”,last year’s biggest linguistic innovations,are practically prehistoric in Internet terms.What’s buzzing now is“hold steady”.

The term comes from a segment on the Taiwanese TV showDa Xue Sheng Le Mei,in which the feature Miss Lin(Xie Yilin)gives a lecture on how to behave like a fashion queen at parties or on the buses.

The hilarious lecture is mainly an overthe-top mockery of the fashion world,but Miss Lin makes a point:We need to hold steady in pressure-filled or embarrassing situations.

Holding steady,Internet slang for“staying poised”,is one of the qualities the public has been looking for lately as pressures on marriage,work and money which can easily drive people crazy.

The quality was demonstrated by a girl named Su Miaoling this year.The contestant in the TV singing competition Super Girl carried herself with an air of confidence onstage and kept her cool when others got agitated.

網(wǎng)絡熱詞的生命力往往不會持久。而去年最重量級的創(chuàng)新語言“給力”和“浮云”幾乎成為過去的網(wǎng)絡用詞了。現(xiàn)在最火的要數(shù)“hold住”了。

這個詞誕生于臺灣電視脫口秀《大學生了沒》中的一個橋段。該集節(jié)目中，由謝依霖扮演的Miss Lin向大家傳授如何在公交以及派對上成為時尚女王。

這個爆笑的橋段主要是用一種夸張的方式來挖苦時尚界。但Miss Lin亮出了自己的看法：我們需要在壓力過大或?qū)擂吻闆r下“hold住”。

“hold住”是“泰然自若”一詞的網(wǎng)絡演繹版本，當下，婚姻、工作以及金錢等方面帶來的壓力很容易讓人抓狂，而“hold住”也成為人們努力追求的特質(zhì)之一。

今年，一個叫蘇妙玲的女孩將這一優(yōu)秀特質(zhì)表現(xiàn)得淋漓精致。這位選手在電視歌唱比賽《快樂女聲》的舞臺上表現(xiàn)自信。在其他選手焦躁不安時，她卻還是十分淡定。

“I like your poise.Very few contestants on this stage can keep composure like you do,”said one of the show’s judges,Hu Haiquan,to Su.Internet users dubbed Su“Sister Poise”.

Poise is also appreciated in Western culture as an essential quality of a well-mannered person.

Every year,the National League of Junior Cotillions of the US releases a list of the Ten Best Mannered People.

Kate Middleton made her onto the list in 2010“for the poise and dignity with which she conducts herself in the public spotlight”.

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate was also acclaimed for her remarkable poise at the royal wedding earlier this year.

Good news for many people,poise is not genetic,it can be acquired with a bit of effort.

About-personal-growth.com,a Malaysia-based website on personal growth guidance,gives tips on how to stay poised.

“Take a few deep breaths when you are facing a situation that tests your patience;practice yoga regularly to calm your nerves;use self affirmation by saying‘I choose to be calm in any situation’;write down your affirmation daily to imprint the goal,”reads the site.

《快樂女聲》評委胡海泉對蘇妙玲說：“我欣賞你的這份沉著自信。這個舞臺上很少有選手能像你一樣如此鎮(zhèn)定，”網(wǎng)友們也將其稱為“淡定姐”。

在西方文化中，沉著自信也是有良好教養(yǎng)人士的重要特質(zhì)。

美國國家青年舞會聯(lián)盟每年都會發(fā)布一份“十佳優(yōu)雅人士”的榜單。

王妃凱特·米德爾頓因其“在公眾面前表現(xiàn)出的那份淡定與優(yōu)雅”于2010年登上這份榜單。

今年早些時候，身為劍橋公爵夫人的凱特也因其在皇家婚禮上那份非凡的淡定而廣受贊譽。
