International trade talks collapse again over conflicts between developed anddeveloping countries

On July 29, after nine days ofmarathon negotiations, trade min-isters from 35 major World TradeOrganization (WTO) memberstates meeting in Geneva failed to reachagreements on key issues, despite some otherachievements. The Doha Round of WTOnegotiations ended in failure again, with thetalks plunged into an indefinite recess.
